So what’s the best way to make some fast cash over the Summer? I tried out a lot of different options like restaurants, stores, the movie theater. All require commitment and to work at times when I could be with my friends, so I went to the internet to find out how to make some money.

I tried getting a job at the grocery store near me, also the movie theater. Nobody is really hiring it seems like, so I took to the internet to make some cash and I found this. It’s working amazingly for me so far and it’ll work great for anyone. Just takes some time and effort, like anything else.

Filling out surveys on a GPT website is the best way to make quick money over summer vacation. It really is the easiest fastest way for some non-committal cash. A job you’ve got to commit to and be on-time and get things done when you’re told. I don’t like that, I like to do things when I want and that’s why this is so perfect. Anyone can do it but it’s perfectly tailored for teens over summer vacation because you can sit and do it for hours and make a good amount of cash or you can take a few minutes and make a few bucks. It’s very versatile and you can do it whenever you want, there’re no guidelines or memberships or anything.

I wasted a good amount of time riding around applying for jobs and looking around talking to people, I wish I had discovered these surveys sooner because it really would have saved me some time and made me money. Anyone can do it but it’s perfectly tailored for teens over summer vacation because you can sit and do it for hours and make a good amount of cash or you can take a few minutes and make a few bucks. It’s very versatile and you can do it whenever you want, there’re no guidelines or memberships or anything.

I’m 16 years old and I make $400 a month with this popular GPT website, to learn more cut and paste this link into your browser: http://www.squidoo.com/workforsummer

At a young age, kids are expected to be in school to study and build a solid foundation for their education. We are told that education prepares children for adulthood by giving them structure, deadlines, rules and socialization with their peers.

Do you have a 14-year-old at home?

Are they driving you crazy because they keep asking you for money and seem to just sit around and talk on the phone? Do you wish there were more jobs for kids out there? Especially for YOUR 14-year old?!

At a young age, kids are expected to be in school to study and build a solid foundation for their education. We are told that education prepares children for adulthood by giving them structure, deadlines, rules and socialization with their peers.

However, at age 14, you can already start exploring your horizons and study, plus do other things. Yet, instead of devoting your time to just playing, why not try to find the best teen jobs you can this summer?

Yes, you’ve heard it right. You can find part time jobs for kids. By this, you do not only spend your free time wisely, but you earn money too. In fact, taking good jobs for young teens helps teach them several lessons in life that they will never learn within the confines of the classroom.

However, if you do not yet have any idea about jobs for kids under 15, here is a list to help you and give you ideas:

1. Babysitting. This is one of the most common jobs for this age group. I babysat when I was 14-years-old. You do not need so much technical knowledge on this. If you have younger brothers or sisters, you might already know how to babysit. You can ask your relatives if they have some kids for you to tend. If not, you may ask your friends. Make sure you know who you are working with.

Several opportunities exist for babysitting certification – giving your son or daughter credible learning experience – and a reference for their completion of the class. Local schools are the best reference for where to find these classes.

2. Movie theater ticket taker. You can also ask movie theaters near you if they need people who will collect the tickets for the movie. This is so simple. You just have to get one ticket for every person who comes in. No sweat!

3. Voice over in radio stations. There are some radio stations that are producing radio dramas or comedy. Sometimes their people can’t copy the exact voice of a young teen or somewhere near that age for their character. Ask if such job could possibly be given to you.

4. Assistant Cashier. If you have a business owned by your parents, a good job for a teen is to be an assistant to the head cashier. Just help the head casher count the money needed for change or the cash collected for the entire day. You just have to do simple math to work best at this. Most modern cash registers are easily error proof when it comes to being accurate in your money count.

5. Paper boy still rates high on the list of perspective jobs for teens who don’t drive yet. Your local paper will be able to identify an open route for you that might be close to or in your neighborhood.

6. Does your local grocery store need people to bag groceries? These jobs are coveted by most, so if you go in person, make sure you take a resume and have 2-3 jobs listed on it that look like you can take on responsibility – Even walking the dog next door counts if you were paid and showed up regularly and can get your neighbor to give you a reference.

7. Build a lemonade stand and sell lemonade. Or baked goods-Cookies are GREAT (no kidding-Tony Tiger GGRRREEEAAAAEATTTTT!).

8. Be in business for yourself and walk dogs – 3 dogs a day, 5 times a week will net you about $75.00 a week if you do it right and the only real expense you’ll have are doggie bags. Or bathe dogs, or pick up after dogs in back yards.

9. Find something people don’t like to do and offer your services.

10. Wash cars – set up a car wash in your own car porch area. If you live in multiple housing check with the landlord to make sure it is OK first!

11. Get a rolling ice cooler and a bell and sell ice cream. Check with the city to make sure you can do this and aren’t violating any rules first! Your parents may need to get you a business license first.

12. Check with your local city office to see if you can get a curb painting kit and paint numbers on curbs for houses. In our city you can pick up a kit from the city for $100.00, complete with everything and use it over and over again. Make sure there is an adult to help you get started with this one!

13. Have you been helping around the house with lawn mowing and yard clean-up – raking leaves? If so then make yourself a colorful poster, get copies, with your name and phone and hand it out to your friends and neighbors.

These 13 are only some of the best teen jobs ideas you can choose from. Just keep in mind that you are doing this not to earn a living, but just to get extra cash. Try to also put in mind that these are only part time jobs for 14-year-olds. In other words, no one expects these to become your lifelong career.

As a teenager, you might be thrilled with the fact that you are earning money! However, these summer jobs for young teens, as the term suggests, are only good for summer. When summer is over, then school takes priority in your life again. trust your parents when they tell you that you’ll have lots of time to earn a living!

Aside from these 13 best teen jobs, there are other part time jobs for young teens that might fit you best. However, in the end, remember that you are still young, and you must not overwork. Just enjoy the experience and make the most of it.

Now, instead of throwing your 14-year-old out the door out of sheer frustration, help them get moving with these part time job ideas for teens!

If you are interested in rewarding that hard working teen who helped you out then you’ll want to check here for gift ideas. And if you are the parent who needs ideas on starting your own business, check out my site at http://www.MischelleWatkins.com

It really does not seem that long ago when I applied to my very first job. I was living in Lake Tahoe, a Senior in High School with extra time in the day because I had an early out.

It really does not seem that long ago when I applied to my very first job. I was living in Lake Tahoe, a Senior in High School with extra time in the day because I had an early out.

I went to one of the local casinos and applied. Fortunately, I had the experience they were looking for and was able get a job in their snack bar department.

I know I said I had not had a job before but as a kid, my parents ran a beach with two concession stands (we called them the “Hot Bar” and the “Cold Bar”). So, as I kid, I learned how to take orders, count out money and clean up after tourists.

I was only on the job in the casino for two weeks when an injury from a previous accident flared up. I was going to have to go back into the hospital and have some screws removed from my hand and that would keep me out of my job for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately they had to lay me off as I had not been on the job long enough. But was encouraged by my Supervisor (who many of my fellow employees did not like) to apply again when my hand healed.

But here is what I learned:

There were two snack bars, one in the main casino and one in the kids recreation center. I did not like the one in the casino because of the smoke but you did not get to pick where you got to work. For some reason, I was always stationed in the recreation center which had a small extension into the entry hall of a smaller building owned by the casino. It was not until I left that I found out why.

The janitor was one of my favorite people, he was kind and spoke with me frequently. Little did I know that he was married to my Supervisor. He would tell her I showed up on time, was pleasant with the customers and always had a smile on my face and offered to help in other areas if needed. I did not judge people, I treated everybody with the same respect and when asked if I could keep the tip given to me I was honest and said I had to share.

So there you have it – the key to success. Show up on time, be pleasant to work with (never complain – it get’s you nowhere), treat everybody with respect, be honest and offer to help out when you are not busy. Oh, and don’t call in sick unless you are really, really sick.

Good luck with your job search. Once you land a job, show them how valuable you are and they will ask you back or keep you on full time!

Most teenagers do not need to acquire a graduate degree in order to experience working, and finding jobs are not as difficult as one might think. There are many job listings for teens available that not only help teens find the jobs most suitable for them, but to also ensure that they have all the information that they would need to know about finding and taking on jobs in general, to make it an easier and more fruitful process for them.

There are many different types of jobs that are available to teenagers, and most of them are usually relegated to part-time and summer jobs. Part-time jobs are work that allows the teenager to work for only a few hours a day, giving them ample time to do other things, such as go to school and study. On the other hand, summer jobs often happen during summer vacations when school is out. In this case, teenagers work for a shorter period of time, usually from the end of the semester until the start of the new one, but work longer hours everyday.

Age is also a very important factor when looking through most job listings for teens. 16-17 year olds may work unlimited hours for as long as these jobs are not classified as hazardous. All jobs that require heavy machinery present, or are situated in dangerous locations are therefore not allowed to hire them. Teenagers younger than this age group however, may only work for 3 hours a day, 18 hours a week, to comply with standard child labor laws. Upon reaching the age of eighteen, child labor laws no longer apply, and the teenager is now allowed to work in whichever job he chooses, for any unlimited number of hours a week.

Having a part time or summer job however, does not mean that having a resume takes second priority. Resume writing is a skill that should be encouraged and developed as early as possible, and many potential employers tend to appreciate a well-written resume, even from teenagers looking for temporary work. Resumes are not strictly limited to any previous work experience that one may have, especially because the teenager may not have had any as of yet. Putting in organizations that the student is a part of, or listing any community or program services that they have rendered, are instead, important additions that will take the place of one’s work experiences. Many job listings for teens also offer valuable resources that help students and teenagers come up with resumes most suitable for the type of work they are interested in.

There are also many available internet resources that offer job listings for teens, and while this is the fastest recourse to finding a suitable job, this is by no means the only method. Many teenagers apply for jobs by going to the store or shop in questions, introducing themselves, and handing in their resumes. Many job listings require interviews before selecting applicants for the job. Personal interaction is still one of the best ways to get a job, and it is important for the teenager to know how to act professionally in these situations, no matter what job they apply for.

The idea of being hired and able to earn money can be exciting to a young teen. Often times, they are eager to be employed not knowing the duties and responsibilities of the job. If you have a youngster at home who are itching to earn his or her own money, be sure to remind him/her to make some background investigation of the job they want to apply for. They can be enticed to accept a job that gives them as high as $150 an hour and yet the task may be daunting and requires backbreaking labor. In your search for jobs for 14+ – highest paying teen job, it is important that you know the responsibilities enclosed and its corresponding amount of wages.

For sure, the very first job that can come into our minds is babysitting. It has been a very common part-time job for teenagers. However, it can be a difficult task because they will be taking care of babies and toddlers and the wage may not be as good as we expect. Another job may be is to work as a pizza delivery boy but this is only a job for boys. The work may be rewarding especially if the tips are abundant, otherwise its wage rate may be as low as the babysitting job.

On the other hand, working as a waiter or waitresses in a fast food chain or restaurant can be rewarding particularly the handsome tips given by customers. Aside from this job, the highest paying job for a teenager is filling up surveys forms issued by various companies over the internet. It’s easy and does not require you to stand for long hours or do some difficult task.

GPT Infinity is the #1 rated job for teens. Start survey filling today and make a big nice wad of cash!
